Work that's already in your neighborhood.

Jack & Jill is Manor's home services marketplace — homeowners on one side, checked local pros on the other. No shared-lead race. You see the job, you quote it, you keep your calendar.

Why join

Less driving. Fewer dead ends.

Most lead services sell the same job to five pros and let them undercut each other. Jack & Jill is built the other way around: homeowners describe the work, we match it to local pros who do it, and you decide what it's worth.

01 — The work

Jobs in your trades and radius

Set the categories you actually want and how far you'll drive. A Manor fence repair shouldn't land on someone in Round Rock, and it won't.

02 — The quote

You price it, you scope it

No algorithm setting your rate and no race to the bottom. You see the request, ask questions in the thread, and send a quote you're willing to stand behind.

03 — The day

Your schedule stays yours

You're not on call because you signed up. Take the jobs that fit the week you already have, and say no to the rest without penalty.

How joining works

Four steps, and the first one is paperwork.

We're opening with a small founding crew so the standard means something from day one. Here's the whole path.

  1. Apply with your trade

Tell us what you do, how long you've done it and where you'll travel. A real local business, not a side hustle with a truck and a prayer.

  2. Clear the checks

ID, liability insurance, two reachable references, and your state license if the trade requires one. This is the same bar homeowners are trusting.

  3. Set your patch

Choose your categories, your radius and the days you take work. You can change all of it later, including pausing for a busy stretch.

  4. Quote local jobs

Requests arrive with the details the homeowner gave us. Ask what you need, quote what you'd charge, and book the ones that make sense.

The standard

Checked before you're listed. Checked again when it renews.

The same four checks every Jack & Jill pro clears — because the promise to homeowners is only worth what's behind it.

What to have ready

Every listed pro

ID. Insurance.
References. License.

  • Government ID matched to the business
  • Current liability coverage on file
  • Two recent customers we can reach
  • State license for plumbing, electrical, HVAC

Before you apply

Have these four things together.

Founding crew applications open with the marketplace launch. When they do, this is the whole list — no portal maze, no twelve-page form.

01Your IDDriver's license or state ID, and the legal name on your business.
02InsuranceA current certificate of liability insurance with your business named.
03Two referencesRecent Manor-area customers who'll pick up the phone this month.
04Your licenseNumber and expiry, for plumbing, electrical or HVAC work.

Not licensed because your trade doesn't require it? That's fine — the check only applies where Texas requires one. We'll tell you exactly what we need for your category.

Pro questions

Straight answers

What does it cost to join?

Founding pros join free during the launch period. If Jack & Jill ever introduces a fee for pros, it will be published clearly before anything is charged, and you'll be able to leave without penalty. No surprise deductions from a quote you sent.

Do I need to be insured?

Yes. Current liability insurance is one of the four checks, and we re-verify it when it renews. If your coverage lapses, your listing pauses until it's back on file.

Can I keep my own customers and my own schedule?

Yes to both. Jack & Jill is not your calendar and it's not your CRM. It's a local source of work you can take or leave. Nothing about joining stops you from running your business the way you already run it.

How do job requests reach me?

By email and in the pro view, filtered to your trades and radius. You'll see the homeowner's description, photos if they added them, timing and location at the neighborhood level — then you decide whether to quote.

Am I penalized for saying no?

No. Quoting is not a commitment and declining a request costs you nothing. We'd rather have a pro who takes the jobs they're good at than one who takes everything.

When does the Manor marketplace open?

We're assembling the founding crew now and opening the marketplace here. The first homeowner requests will go to that crew. This page will carry the application when it opens.

Founding crew

A small crew, on purpose.

We're starting with a handful of Manor pros who do good work and answer their phone. If that's you, get the paperwork ready — applications open with the launch.
